Thank you very much for visiting our website. Lion Springs Lavender Farm, in Carmel Valley Village, California, started planting lavender in December of 2016. In the summer of 2018, after a lot of hard work, we were happy to receive our organic certification through Monterey County Certified Organic (MCCO) for our lavender. Lion Springs Lavender Farm strives to be a good steward of the land.
We use organic practices to grow lavender in a sustainable, environmentally friendly manner for the benefit of our fellow neighbors as well as offer customers healthy, natural products. The farm is not open to the public. We are waiting for our lavender plants to mature before we sell lavender products. Keep checking back and we’ll let you know when our lavender products will be for sale.
Besides growing lavender at the farm, we also make Carmel Caramels with the honey from bees that pollinate the lavender we grow.
In addition, one of the farm’s goals is to help preserve our local wildlife, such as the namesake for our farm…the California Mountain Lion. Thus, Lion Springs Lavender Farm will give a portion of its proceeds from Carmel Caramels to help save the endangered California Mountain Lions through the Mountain Lion Foundation in Sacramento, CA, mountainlion.org. Together, we can help save mountain lions one caramel at a time.
Thank you very much to everyone who has helped build the farm. We greatly appreciate our neighbors, friends, guests, and future customers. Please let us know how we can help or serve you. Feel free to email any questions to lionspringslavender @gmail.com.
